Privacy Policy
Your Data
Your ATProto data (posts, profile, media you publish, and other public records) is public and accessible to anyone. This is a core concept of the AT Protocol.
Private data (such as your email address and password) is kept private on this server. Direct messages (DMs) are stored on Bluesky’s servers; your ATProto account is what gives you access to those messages.
Service Provider and Location
The PDS is self-hosted on dedicated hardware in Brussels, Belgium.
Data We Process
To operate this PDS, we store and process the following categories of data:
- Account Information: email address and authentication data required to operate your account
- Usage/Operational Data: server logs generated as part of operating the service (these may include IP address, access times, and requested URLs)
- Public ATProto Data: posts, profile records, and other public ATProto records and media you publish
We do not “sell” your data. We do not run ads. We do not use your data for profiling or marketing.
Data Retention
Your account data is retained as long as your account is active. If you migrate your account to another PDS, you may delete your account here.
Children’s Privacy
This service is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above.

Terms of Service
Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account on loves.brussels or migrating an existing ATProto account, you agree to
comply with these Terms and the Privacy Policy.
Account Registration
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your credentials. You must provide accurate information during registration and keep it up to date.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Create accounts solely for spamming or harassment
- Engage in bulk messaging/automated posting that disrupts the network
- Post illegal content or content that violates others’ rights
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the server or other users’ accounts
- Distribute malware or conduct phishing attacks
Service Availability
The service is provided “as is”. We strive for reliability but cannot guarantee 100% uptime.
Account Portability
ATProto supports account portability. You may migrate your account to another PDS at any time.
Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or pose a risk to the service. You may also delete your account at any time.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for damages arising from use of this service, including data loss or service interruptions.
